Shovels collects, cleans, and combines building permit and contractor data from thousands of municipalities. Customers access it through an API, a web app, and data warehouse integrations.
Companies in construction, building materials, energy and climate, home services, real estate, and telecommunications use the data for market research and sales. Shovels wanted to help them analyze those records by asking questions in plain language.
What we built
We built an AI assistant that answers questions about construction data using current records from the database.
